When I first got Adium, I loved it. But lately, it's really been giving me problems. For one thing, I had to turn all of my sounds off cause I can't customise them. For another, every time I start the program, my Google account on there asks me to log in. No matter how many times I enter my password it keeps bringing me back to the log-in until I hit escape. So I deleted the account from Adium. I also find it difficult to edit my name on the various accounts. All say Eleni as the display name but the other day, a friend of mine told me that my Yahoo account was showing up as Tiffanitsa and then a message that I used ages ago. The program was very sluggish when I tried to edit the name and when I eventually got to it I didn't see that. So I deleted that account too. Now, I went back into accounts and hit add and it did absolutely nothing. I couldn't get the button to work. I never had these problems in earlier versions. How do I fix them or if I can't then how do I downgrade to a more accessible version?

Hi, I too have seen that specific problem. I am running Mac OSX 10.5.8 with Adium 1.3.6. Have you tried downgrading to 1.3.5 since you can still download it, and see if the problem goes away? If it does, then try filing a bug report, or see if there is any workaround for it.
Thanks. So so glad I'm not the only one. I'll give it a shot and if not, I'll see if anyone has an even older version lying around. this is really annoying.
